This month we headed to Florence for the launch of La Perla men’s loungewear. Take a look at what our Sartorial 7 gents got up to over the 2 days in Italy and what we saw at the show.

On real levels, I’m about to go snag the 2014 French national team jerseys just to wear in my normal kits. Nike killed it with the contrast polo collar home jersey and the gray/white henley away jersey.
YMC Spring/Summer 2015
YMC has been one of my favorite ultra casual labels over the past few seasons, and the new collection exhibits some familiar and new features. The outerwear looks fantastic, and there’s a clear athletic inspiration via the baseball cut shirts and the jersey-like knitting process. There are a lot of really gnarly pieces in here that I’d like to see paired with more conservatively structured pieces, but overall, I’m a fan.
Gieves & Hawkes Spring Summer 2015:
Just a side note here, I wanted to voice my complete disappointment in the London Collections so far this year. Besides the usual few heavy hitters, I’ve been really underwhelmed by everything I’ve seen, most surprisingly Hackett’s collection.
Gieves & Hawkes lifted my spirits a bit though, great tailoring and casual suiting applications.
